About the ArtistEdward Curtiss Colver is a self-taught photographer known for his work that captured the early punk and hardcore music scenes in Los Angeles. From 1979 until 1984, Colver attended high energy concerts in a "zen state of mind while shooting". Later in his career, he created album cover designs for record companies for over 250 albums of the late 20th century. Some bands he photographed include Bad Religion, Fugazi, Dead Kennedys, Social Distortion, REM, DEVO, and Ice Cube.
