About the ArtistBorn in Landshut, Germany, New-York based photographer Marco Breuer works directly with camera-less processes involving light sensitized materials and experimental techniques. He studied at Lette-Verein Berlin (1986-1988), and then Hochschule Darmstadt, University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt, Germany (1988-1992). His work has been featured in solo exhibitions at Yossi Milo Gallery, New York; Milwaukee Art Museum; de Young Museum, San Francisco; Minneapolis Institute of Arts; and MIT List Visual Arts Center, Cambridge, among others. Group exhibitions have been held at institutions including the George Eastman Museum, J. Paul Getty Museum, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Museum of Modern Art. His work is in the public collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the National Gallery of Art, the J.
