About the ArtistBorn and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, Albert Watson attended Duncan of Jordonston College of Art Design, where he focused on graphic design, and the Royal College of Art in London for Film and Television. Although he never officially majored in photography, Watson studied it as part of his curriculum, and he went on to pursue a career as a commercial and editorial photographer. He has received a number of major awards for his work and has been published in magazines ranging from Newsweek to Rolling Stone. Watson has lived in the United States since 1970.
