About the ArtistVictor Schrager was born in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed a BA at Harvard College (1972) and an MFA at Florida State University (1975). From 1978 to 1986 Schrager was a photography instructor at the School of Visual Arts in New York City (1978-1986) and in 1987 he founded an MFA program in photography for the school.
