About the ArtistBorn in San Diego, Steven Gibson completed a BA and an MA at San Diego State University (1971, 1973). He went on to complete an MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (1976). He is represented in the portfolio Printmaking at the School of the Art Institute, which includes the work of students and faculty of the printmaking program in 1975. He has taught as an adjunct professor at California State University at Northridge, San Diego State University, and Southwestern College.
