About the ArtistFred Endsley completed an BA in Art (1971) and an MA in Graphic Design and Video (1972), both at the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MFA in Photography at Florida State University in Tallahassee (1973), where he studied under Robert Fichter. He began teaching at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1975 and later became a tenured professor. His work is represented in the portfolio Underware, published by the school in 1976 to celebrate its centennial year, along with photographs by other members of the faculty in the Department of Photography and nine former visiting artists.
