About the ArtistGillian Brown completed a BA at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island (1973) before receiving her MFA from the University of California, Los Angeles (1980). The 20/20 portfolio, published in 1985 by UCLA, gathered the work of twenty photographers who had completed the MFA photography program within the last twenty years.
