Grubman, Steve

Steve Grubman is a commercial photographer based in Chicago. After concentrating on product and still-life work early in his career, he went on to develop specialities in photographing animals. Typically working in a controlled studio environment, Grubman cultivates a strong graphic quality in his photographs, working in what he has described as a "straight-on portrait style."
