Kowal, Cal

Born and educated in Chicago, Cal Kowal received a BA in art and architectural history from University of Illinois, Chicago, and an MS in design from the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. Active as a photographer, curator, and professor, Kowal taught at the Art Academy of Cincinnati for over thirty years, from 1971 to 2002.
