Ryan, Juana

Juana Ryan completed an MA at Columbia College Chicago in 1987. The two untitled photographs here were taken as part of her graduate thesis, for which she photographed people in public spaces with the intention of observing the connections they had with one another and with the camera. Since 1998, Ryan has owned StellaLily Studio, a portrait photography business in Chicago.
