BiographyJiří Anderle studied painting and graphic art at the Academy of Creative Arts in Prague. He later travelled through Europe for eight years as a mime, which had a fundamental influence on his work. He has won 38 prizes at international biennials and has exhibited at more than 90 solo and 200 group exhibitions. His work is in collections such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; and the George Pompidou Centre, Paris.
