BiographyChris Steele-Perkins photographs Eastern countries such as Afghanistan and Japan, where he examines issues of war and poverty. Perkins has been exhibited at the International Center for Photography, New York, NY (1989); Aperture Foundation, New York, NY (1991); Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, Tokyo, Japan (2007); and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, UK (2010). He is a member of Magnum Photos.
