Lovell Williams, D'Angelo
D’Angelo Lovell Williams creates photographs that convey intimacy between Black and queer individuals. Williams’ photograph, As Close, 2019, is part of a body of work that confronts and explores notions of identity, finding belonging, and implications of outsiders’ perceptions relative to the queer Black community.
