Lloyd Estrin, Mary

Mary Estrin attended Vassar College from 1962 to 1964 and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1966. She completed her MS from the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology in photography in 1975. A professional photographer for fifteen years, Estrin photographed celebrities such as of Mikhail Baryshnikov, Pat Boone, Joan Didion, for publications such as Rolling Stone, MS, and the New York Times. Her book, To the Manor Born, was published in 1979 by Little-Brown. Her work is held in the permanent collections of Art Institute of Chicago; Bibliotheque National, Paris; the Loeb Art Center at Vassar College, NY; and the Polaroid Collection; among several others.
