About the ArtistBorn in Chicago, Earl Iversen completed a BA in communication design from the University of Illinois at Chicago (1970). He went on to completed an MFA in photography from the Rhode Island School of Design (1973) and he is represented in the The Seventh Annual Portfolio of the Photographic Education Society, Rhode Island School of Design, which comprises photographs by the program's participants in 1973. Since 1974, Iverson has been a professor of art at the School of Fine Arts at the University of Kansas. In addition to photography, Iversen has been working with the mediums of video and digital imaging.
